Cashmere got his start playing in church at seven years old, there he learned to blend with musicians and developed his signature sound. In 1995, he won a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he studied compostion and arranging. In 2003, he got the call to play with American Idol Winner Ruben Studdard appearing on all the national TV networks: Jay Leno, David Letterman, The View, Ellen DeGeneres Show and many more!
